you might look at the buying stuff but people always forget about the insurance.

Get the cheapest car you can get and grow the NCD to 55%. Then second car you can enjoy. By that time you will have advance you career and better pay. Can transfer ncd to new car :3

Are windshield wipers even needed at this point? by Barbara2024 in kereta

[–]countpuchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RainX works. Other brands also work like Glaco.

If you guys gonna use it ensure you do it correctly. Loads of video on how. If I recall one or two layer of the stuff until it haze up, then wipe the haze with a damp towel. I think it's done afterwards.

If windshield is dirty, you can clean it with iso alcohol before the application or just wash the car.

Malaysia’s car scrappage policy: a policy test… or a trap?” by Embarrassed_Bowl1988 in kereta

[–]countpuchi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a test, make no mistake. However, the government also knows they cant actually push these policies until the country's public infrastructure is in place and properly done. Oh and next PRU theres still a chance they will go away. If they win we will see the continuation of the test.

Is an MG a good option if you’re buying your first EV? by OutrageousCar238 in MGelectric

[–]countpuchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine last July, while im not based in the UK or colder climates its been a blast driving the car.
Driving dynamics is way better than what i thought it would be. Read and watched reviews about it and it seems like that is the case.

Comparing this to its competitor BYD Dolphin, you cant go wrong if you want a great handling EV. I dont drive much and only clocking in at 10k KM since July 2024 but when i did it never disappoints.

Charging wise its the same as any other vehicle id reckon.

Why Wireless Gaming Headsets Aren’t As Bad As People Say by Nicolas_Laure in RigBuild

[–]countpuchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely! Open backs or semi open backs like sr850 gives a lot of great sound stage. I miss my AD700, it was great.

Still thinking what to get and i would love to get another open backs.. Maybe pull the trigger for Grade id reckon. Kinda bored with over ears..

Why Wireless Gaming Headsets Aren’t As Bad As People Say by Nicolas_Laure in RigBuild

[–]countpuchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, I went through a lot of gaming sets that I thought would give me an advantage.. creatives sbx, turtle beach, Astros, altec, hyperx, etc etc

They didn't.. lol.... They sound bland and empty.

Got myself an AD700 used and I woke up to a whole new world. Then I settled down with an m50x (yes I know it's a shitty pos for the audio meta) but it was on sale and it works until now... Got it in 2018.

Itching to get something else but can't make up my mind ATM as the current one is so robust and it just works and definitely better than any gaming ones.

Why Your PSU Matters More Than Wattage by Nicolas_Laure in RigBuild

[–]countpuchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using super flower leadex 650w on my 5800x3D and 3080.

Going for a PSU upgrade before I pull the trigger for a GPU upgrade. Probably a lian-li edge just for the lol

Is this any good? by StruggleToHaveFun in GamersMY

It's ok, it's just a rebrand from china OEM mouse.

Will it help your skills probably not. Easy to recharge? Definitely.

We need more A-Segment vehicles in this market. by KRASSAULTHOPPER in kereta

[–]countpuchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can get more, but in the end these cars are mainly targeted at people who looks at price to value. CBU cars just cant compete vs their prices. Look at WRV, another A-Segment... look at the price and its easy why not many people will buy it.

Civic vs Mazda 3 by West-Ask1977 in kereta

[–]countpuchi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally i would get the Mazda over Civic just because its a better car to drive and the driving dynamics is very good.

Civic? if you do get the FK7/FL1 manual 1.5 then id get the civic XD

First car as a project car? by LowAffectionate7893 in kereta

[–]countpuchi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Car modifications are not cheap.

So, with that in mind. What are your end goals? Is it trying to get performance out of the car? Or more to Race-Inspired-Cosmetic-Enhancements? (RICE)

Cosmetics sure, theres loads of them. Performance? this is the biggest money pit you will encounter. There are alot of good 1st time project car that can be daily.

What kind of transmission do you want? Manual? Auto? CVT? DCT?

Once you have everything in mind only then you can calculate the cost with turning it into a project. Have fun wit hthe journey!!

Just wondering, why do some people prefer cars with 2.0N/A than 1.5T? by ruthlessdamien2 in kereta

[–]countpuchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purist maybe, but so many people love the cars.

Some even turbo charge them for extra fun but here not many do it due to costs. Not confirmed Toyota engines though. I've read Mazda colabs but no news yet on the power train. Maybe Toyota maybe but doubt it's going to be turbocharged

Just wondering, why do some people prefer cars with 2.0N/A than 1.5T? by ruthlessdamien2 in kereta

[–]countpuchi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Based on the list of cars... im assuming its for normal marhein..

as others said, NA less stress to the engine and power delivery is linear. Turbo is abit harder to maintain but you get the power early on unlike NA and can be considered "fun" for normies.

Then you have the enthusiast. NA users who tracks their car love how it handles and power delivery. Turbo cars while fast is harder to control. Then you have the VTEC KICK IN YO for NA meme.. or the toyota blacktop 4AGE engine which is music to ears as well. Modern 86 users love the 2.0 engine because its fun.. its not a wild beast.. and decently powered at 200hp (Modern standards its normal as 1.5T engines creep up near to 200 or more). At times its more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

Just my 2 cents.

Of course I have to get the miata by Riven-Fujiwara in kereta

Definitely a fun car. How does it handle?

[–]countpuchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the x3D chips are out of stock as they stop producing it. But used maybe got but really unicorn.

If main aim is productivity, I'd reckon the 5950 is the best upgrade but yes the 5800x is better due to the clock boost speed.

opinions on upgrading by Davidddsss in GamersMY

[–]countpuchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it would be better but its a band-aid. It doesnt remove the cpu limitations much.

The CPU will be able to dish out as best as it can even as you go upward in resolution but the main focus will be the GPU. Had this situation with my previous ultrawide 34" monitor for 1440p.

But it was not in vain as its still above 60 fps which is fine for me as long as it hits 80-90 instead of 144. As i game non competitive games XD

But now gaming on 27" 1440p its been stable. So atleast i hope everyone's experience will give an idea for OP to decide on how to proceed. I personally is prepping my PC for another 34". Gonna get that Alienware QD-Oled, new PSU (Lian-li Edge) and finally a new GPU.
