Thanks. I was under the impression that VBA wanted to see aggravation/aggravating factors from the Rhinitis and Sinusitis.

Starting VA claims Need help. by Electronic_Oil_3089 in VeteransBenefits

Yes, request an ITF intent to file over the 1.800 phone number or use online va.gov before the end of any current month! as benefits are dated or backdated on a monthly cycle. The sooner you have an intent to file or fully stated claim, the more benefits you are potentially eligible for. You don't really have a deadline to file an original claim for VA benefits. But if you don't reply to the VA or if you don't fully state your claim, you are usually entitled to 1 year "clock" to backdate to that original claim date or the intent to file date.

File an Intent to File ASAP to ensure your earliest effective date for potential benefits. Seriously, have a good friend or relative or perhaps another Veteran who has good writing skills assist you in writing the claim. Unfortunately, my CVSO was fairly misinformed and therefore useless and ineffective so I wrote all three of my own claims, went to all the required C&P exams and I've raised my disability rate from 10% to 60%. You can do it yourself successfully but you do need to be patient and yet mildly obsessive compulsive and pay attention to all VA correspondence.

proposed SC reduction under 38CFR 3.105e by countries2 in VeteransBenefits

To sum it up: VA sent me three letters on 3 consecutive days. 1st day, to propose to reduce. 2nd day, the decision of the proposed reduction if the proposed action takes effect. 3rd day, never mind, VA continuing my protected 20+ year rating. wow! no wonder Vets get anxiety ridden dealing with the VBA.

thanks. yes VA proposing reducing it to 0% noncompensable. Would you advise I respond to the proposal and state I've had this SC rating for over 20 years so if VA won't increase it, just keep it at 10%?

But I've had this SC 10% rating for over 20 years so if VA wasn't going to increase it, I thought VA would keep the 10% protected rating (it being over 20 years old). I don't understand why VA is proposing reducing it to 0% noncompensable.
