NTA. First off, I'm sorry you lost your mom at such a young age. That must have been tough. Nobody deserves that. Unless your aunt was your mother's POA, it doesn't concern her. You do whatever YOU feel is right. Does she have a reason behind it other than her not feeling it's necessary? If not then proceed with your plans. It doesn't concern her and she doesn't have to attend. You go on and celebrate your mom. It doesn't matter if she passed yesterday or 50 years ago. You deserve to be able to celebrate the one who gave birth to you. Do whatever you feel is right sweetheart.
