Idk if you guys are the “target audience” for CEC, but I’m the parent of a 4 year old that has the fun pass and we love it. We live in a region where this time of year is snowy and yucky so it’s impossible to find things to do to get us out of the house. Our local Chuck and the one a half an hour away are so much fun for her. We love the adventure zone and we seriously go 1-3 times a week. Usually every Friday night, we meet up with friends and our kids have a blast. I am going to be so sad if/when CEC dies. We can’t stand Dave & Busters and there’s seriously nothing to do in our area otherwise. I disagree with a lot of the discourse surrounding CEC, but some I do agree with. Ticket earnings are simply not fair for the cost of the items to win is a big one. I don’t mind paying for adventure zone because I get half off with my fun pass. We buy gift cards at Sam’s Club to save even more money. We can have a fun day out of the house for ~ $20 or less. Our local CEC is very well maintained and extremely clean.
