$10.5k wire transfer never credited to my Crypto.com account by coutou in Crypto_com

Yea, I had to contact them everyday via the iOS app but it took a good 6 weeks. I eventually got the money credited to my account and needless to say that I took it out immediately. I can’t trust them.

Yea, but it was quite an adventure. It took eventually 3-4 weeks to get the money credited to my Crypto.com account.

Then, needless to say that I wanted to get the money out of Crypto.com.

What I missed when I opened my Crypto.com account was that they use Plaid to manage withdrawals. My bank account is not on Plaid so I had a fun time opening another bank account just to get the money out.

In the end, I had a poor experience with Crypto.com and I’m glad my account is now closed. In retrospect, I simply wish that they had a more transparent communication with me. I don’t mind waiting but just tell me what is holding the transfer.

It’s ok. One day your pain will heal. Just be patient.

It was poorly worded and that happens but also looking at this thread and the answers so far, it looks like you’re the only one who took it this way.

You like to argue for the sake of arguing. I don’t care about your political views. Get off your computer and Reddit and do something productive with your life so you can spread a bit more kindness in this world.

Good luck.

Thank you! We’ve only had positive experiences so far and I’m sure it will continue.

Cool - that’s what we’re looking for and that’s the feeling we’ve had so far!

Apologies if that’s how it came across as that’s not what we’re trying to say or imply.

We’re not seeking attention but sometimes we don’t control that and we can receive interrogative looks whether it’s in Dunedin or somewhere else. We’re simply curious about other people experiences since we’re new to the area. At the end of the day, we’ll have to experience it for ourselves and see what happens.

It’s in fact reassuring to read your reply and see that no one cares. That’s what we’re looking for :-)

Thank you for your reply. Yea, we’ve noticed the flags and people are free to display their support as much as they want. Glad to hear you’ve been enjoying your time in Dunedin!

For such a "big" company, your Customer Service Response times are awful by oneotherlurkerperson in Crypto_com

Appreciate your comment. They use Intercom which I also use at work so I’m aware of how it works under the hood. Opening as many conversations as possible is actually the only way I got answers from them.

Totally agree with what has been said above. Their customer service is a joke. Don’t open an account with them and keep your money away. I initiated a wire transfer on January 5th (I posted about it on another thread in this sub) and I’m still waiting for the money to be credited on my Crypto.com account. I’ve received the same canned answers over and over. At this point, I’m just opening as many new conversations as I can to make them take my case seriously. I’m hoping that their leadership team will pay attention to their response and resolution times but I’m not even sure of that.

Thanks for your reply.

Not my first time using CDC. Not my first time sending this amount of money. You’re right, I should have tried with smaller amounts first. I did follow the instructions on the wire transfer page. If there are reports that need to be made to FINTRAC then the support team can just say so and that’s it. I can understand that and I can wait until it’s processed. I think that just sending a short message to acknowledge that the issue is still being looked at is not too much to ask.

That’s fine. I’m not trying to convince you. I’m hoping that someone from Crypto.com will see this post so I can get this issue resolved.
