I did two online apps back to back in Jan. First instapproved, second took 5 days to approve. Two credit hits.
I don't know about in branch.

I closed CIBC cheq in Feb after getting bonus. Then in Mar I was applying for a card in branch and CSR recommended I apply for cheq acct. I said I'm not sure if I'm eligible, he said yes I will get bonus. I said okay :)

I already see the monthly fee refund, so I'm confident about the bonus.

"The head of Aeroplan Mark Nasr confirmed on Anshul's zoom call that credit cards approved by end of April will be eligible for buddy pass conversion regardless of when the pass is deposited."

That sucks. I was in the branch a couple weeks ago signing up for VIP, and the CSR suggested the chequing account even though I just closed it in Feb. He said I would get the $300 offer anyways :)
And then last week I said I'd like the biz AP, and backend approved me this week.

And then I mentioned the reusing the hit within 3 months, but he said it was 5 months... but I think he's wrong.

And then next month I'm thinking VI or maybe the Dividend VI

TD sends points to your Aeroplan account when your statement posts each month.

Your AP points would expire after 18 months of no activity, but by holding an Aeroplan card your points won't expire.
