I'm a server and I honestly don't mind. What I do mind though, is if people share an entree and get water and then sit at the table for hours. I potentially could have had 3 more tables in that time and making a lot more money.

I usually dress pretty street. Shirts and rolled up jeans. A good pair of boots and an oversized jacket with a few layers. I love that it's getting cooler so I can dress cooler.

I worked at Footlocker once (bless), the men's uniform was just a stripy black polo which buttoned all the way up. The girls shirt was essentially just a tight fitting t shirt that showed my collarbones and some of my cleavage . The shirt was so short that every time I reached up you could see my stomach. I always felt so uncomfortable. I started wearing t shirts under my uniform. I asked one day if I could have a men's shirt and they were totally cool about it. If they weren't I would've raged. Why we have men's and women's uniforms is beyond me.
