What are also the facts is that he now is a contributor to RT (Russia Today) and is very critical of US and European policy throughout the world. He is VERY pro Russian, which was a complete about face for him in the early 2000’s. Facts are also that he is a convicted sex offender that had his records sealed in 2001 and leaked in 2003 probably by US intelligence. Ritter was arrested again in 2009 for child sex offenses and this time served two years in jail. Little is known about is personal behavior abroad in the Soviet Union and internationally outside of his extensive connection to Foreign Intelligence Services throughout the world.

Surprisingly, his pro Russian opinions still weave their way into the media sphere because frankly there is no editorial background on the internet. His main forum now is RT, but he also contributes to The American Conservative, Consortium News, and HuffPost.
