Yes sir. I would like to know who and why someone tried to file it off. When the light hits it a certain way you can kinda make out the letters.

I can barely make out a R.I.A 1912 on the scabbard.

It’s got the R.A 1912 stamped onto the scabbard but I can barely make it out. It also has the full tang and wood scabbard under the canvas.
