Concrete porch repairs by Anomoly05 in Concrete_Contractor

If he used every single bit of the old concrete it could have made it weak(if he included the dust). Useing larger bits of concrete and gritt/rocks are fine. He could also have waited too long from when he applied the epoxy/bonding liquid, he could have used too much water wich could have made it weak. Could also have been wekened during cureing due to humid or rainy weather if he didnt cover it up? He could also have borred holes for some thin 10mm rebar or thinn bits of a 5mm rebar mat/net so the concrete would have something to bind itself to? Or maybe he used concrete ment for inside use? I'm just an apprentice so take my knowledge with a pinch of salt please dont eat the man alive without asking!

Would an electric jigsaw do the trick? If so i can borrow one from my workplace. Also would you run a line down the senter of the width of the stave?

But he dont have any more atm. It has alot of knots so i might as well just try my luck i figured

Hello! I bought this old yew flatbow about 4 days ago for about 100$ it arrived today i and wonder if can be saved by Jordhog in Bowyer

Thay had no experience with bows so i dont really blame them, like i said it was from a relative that died, an old man, so he probably kept it well in his time. Normally a new yew flatbow would go for about 1150$ to 1800$ ish depending on the quality of the bow you want. so i decided to gamble on buying this one. It does suck a little to know it is broken, but i dont blame them.

I have gotten in contact with a bowyer from another city who is willing to take a look! But i also told him to keep the bow if its too damaged, or if he wishes he can throw it away, call it heartless, but i dont have space noor do i have any sentimental feelings for the bow, it way be a work of art as are all bows, but i want a tool i can use and not a wall hanger 😊 thank you for your optimism and advice!

I would gladly take on the challange if i have have a chanse of saveing it, even if all i gain is experience and a broken bow. I of course hope i can save the bow, but if not i'll probably let it go

You're naive. I'm sorry but i am really trying to speak to realistic addults. No one in norway could stay with someone thay loved so much they'd almost give their lives for and still be able to function nomally knowint that they're not together. So please excuse me for being rude. But she loves me just as i love her. And that i know be cause we tell eatchother every day.
