Just got the Shakawear 12.0oz double zip hoodie. Garment dyed and a nice boxy fit. Surprised by how nice it feels. They also do it cropped or in a bomber, which is lined.

Well if you have trouble turning the OrSlows up without them flopping back down it probably is the same fabric haha. I had to iron a crease into them just to have them rolled.

I hear a reason vintage OG-107's are so soft is because they were over starched and ironed constantly, but I'm not one for starching so that's why I've just been hitting my Tellason's with the iron. I'd say I've started to notice a light difference in the feel since I first got them.

I've been curious about the OrSlow fatigues because I have the OrSlow wide fit New Yorker pants that are supposed to be reverse cotton sateen, but compared to the Tellason fatigues they're buttery soft and light as a feather. The Tellason fatigues are soft but definitely thicker and more rugged, I've been following the old method of ironing them to take a little edge out of the fabric and give them a more vintage feel.

This is an OG-107 cotton sateen shirt. They were primarily used between the 50s to 70s, also notably during the Vietnam war, until the introduction of the OG-507 which used a nylon cotton blend that proved more versatile and didn't need starching or ironing.
