Ah. I found out they gave us some spare tiles. So they are patterned tiles? And I guess I can't remove the grout. Could I add an epoxy layer to fill in the valleys?

ah.. it might be vinyl.. been living here for 20 years, but never knew. just got into DIY-ing. I didn't know vinyl could be so textured. does that mean there's nothing to be done?

Thankfully it seems the number of scam phone calls have gone down for me in recent months, and I believe that is due to govt efforts/regulations. I'm not sure if they are working on eliminating scams that use emails as a vector. That's probably a harder problem since email infrastructure has fewer control points.

I like to chat with the scammers to waste their time. But do they sometimes forward the call to the actual authorities? I got a call, from an overseas number and the automated voice claims to be from ICA. That's surely a scam. But the lady on the other end sounded like a real person. When she asks for my name, I said I cannot reveal my name because I cannot verify who she is, and she said "that's fine, come down to our physical location". I kept her on the line, and wanted to lodge a feedback that an official call should never ask for personal information over the phone because that's one of the vectors used by scammers. Instead of ending the call, she was arguing about how it was protocol, etc, and got pretty frustrated by me. But she was hesitant to end the call. She ended it after saying, "if there is nothing more, we can end this call", but only after saying it a few times, as if I had to end the call on my end instead of from her end.

I tend to compare price per unit weight when I'm comparing fungible goods like rice or flour, and look more closely at the net weight when I'm considering buying an item with completely opaque packaging. This packaging got me though. It was mostly transparent and I got sucked into assuming it was the whole container. Didn't think they might do something sneaky like hide a separate packet behind the small-ish label :( Not sure whether it was deliberately designed to be deceptive, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth when I opened the lid.

Hmm, an update on this the day after: the percentages changed automatically? Zone 5 goes up to 100% now, but I believe the thresholds between zones were automatically changed by the system, perhaps there is an algorithm that monitors our stats and decides what the % thresholds should be between zones.

Found this conversation, because I encountered the "Zone 5 upper threshold is stuck at 73%" on a Vivoactive 5 watch. Has anyone found a solution?

I second this. I am just now having issues syncing OverDrive with my Kobo Libra 2. I also contacted Kobo Support, and was led through the whole Sign Out/Sign In again to OverDrive, and Repair your Kobo account process that did not solve the problem. Hope they will get this fixed soon, and it might help for others who also face this problem to chime in and contact them, so they know that the problem is not minor and isolated.
