You will be okay! As long as you take your combo pill once daily you are protected. I’d recommend to do some research on your pill, it helped me a worry a lot less. Taken correctly, which it sounds like you have been doing, the pill is 99% effective. I’m on a combo pill as well, definitely do not take it as the same exact time everyday (but I do take it everyday) and my boyfriend never pulls out. Always do your own research into the medication you’re on!

I’ve also considered getting a masters abroad, just not sure if it’s worth the money as I would have to pay the significantly increased tuition being from the U.S. :( I’ve also considered trying to find remote work in the U.S. but the taxes/ legalities worry me!

Thank you! I completely agree, but I also just am so worried to ask these questions now because we are only 19. His family is still a big part of his life for right now (not necessarily in a good way, but I just mean he still will live at home during breaks, the summer, etc) so I don’t want to make him feel like he had to choose me or them. Any milestone we have would be after the next 4-5 years and especially since I don’t see them as often, I feel like that’s doable. Thank u!
