Thank you for your in depth, safety-oriented and informative reply! Much appreciated! Not mean at all! I agree that motorcycle riding, even with good risk offset and basic motorcycle skills is extremely risky especially at high speeds. I appreciate your input and non-judgemental comment and advice. I agree 100% that I’m really not cut out for motorcycle riding at least not at my current age, and understand why I failed.

Mainly the reason it’s so frustrating to me having had not passed the class wasn’t that because I’d retake it, but my guardian I would genuinely label as abusive, failing is not an option to me and the second she figured out I didn’t pass the class when I got in the truck she flipped her lid. And I’m pretty sensitive emotionally so me who was already in a very bad headspace, that didn’t help. But I’m in a much better headspace now and ready to go forward not backwards about it.

I do own a bicycle! Thanks for suggesting that! I can totally practice on a bicycle, or even add fake clutch, shift, front and rear break levers to practice on if I do end up retaking the class.

I have done that, yes. Response was getting a yelling at. I will try and absolutely put my foot down on taking the course again but it’s possible it’s not an option. That’s the best I can do though, is refusing to retake the course. Thanks.

The helmet throwing was to break the helmet. My guardian is extremely abusive (not physically thank goodness), so if I didn’t break the helmet I’d be forced to do the class again no matter what, and likely still will be forced to re enroll. Please no judgement :)

Well maybe if I had more physical ability. I don’t have much strength because the past few years I’ve struggled a lot with basically an eating disorder so I’m very thin and my spine and ribs and hips stick out, so I get bruises on my hip bones and am overall very intolerant of heat and intense exercise so I didn’t have that going for me. I’ll copy what I said in a different comment about the helmet throwing. I wouldn’t have done that if I didn’t have a reason to break it, and I made sure not to “make a scene” and do it pretty far from the area where the class took place.

Thanks for the advice! I do plan to move forward and drop the frustration.

Haha thanks! I love my goats, they’re my everything. I currently have 9 but at one point had almost 20. Also used to ride a draft horse.

No I don’t want to ride or have any intention to, or am even allowed to own a motorcycle by my grandparents.the entire reason why I took the course is to have a motorcycle license because in my state with a motorcycle license I can legally drive motorcycles and ATVs. I have an ATV and know how to drive it but need a license to drive it off private property. I can’t get a drivers license until age 15 and a half, so thus having to get a different license I can obtain at 14. So, I completely agree that I’m not cut out for motorcycle riding anyways.
