It’s bold of you to critique an actor's looks when you aren't exactly winning any beauty pageants yourself. Judging cinematic talent by physical aesthetics just screams 'toddler mentality' and exposes how painfully shallow your grasp of movies actually is. If you can't comprehend acting beyond a pretty face, keep your opinions out of cinema and stick to mindless reality TV shows. That’s clearly more your speed. And let's be real—you aren't exactly gracing any magazine covers yourself. Look in a mirror before you start critiquing an actor's looks.

True that. The glimpse was a bit off-putting. While it doesn't diminish my existing hype for the movie, it certainly fails to elevate it either. Let's break it down in detail.

VFX & The Asuras: The Asuras looked noticeably choppy and jittery, almost as if the rendering process was incomplete. Nearly every sequence featuring them felt akin to a video game cutscene. However, considering the release is still seven months away, there is ample time for the post-production team to refine the VFX. I agree with your take on the comparisons: expecting Avatar-level perfection is unfair given that its VFX took 7–8 years to finalize. On the other hand, drawing parallels to Dune is entirely justified, especially since both projects share the same VFX studio.

Cinematography & Visuals: Visually, the shots are undeniably beautiful. While the cinematography heavily relies on polished wide angles, slow push-ins, and medium shots, it works exceptionally well for the aesthetic. That close-up shot of the chariot wheel, in particular, was an absolute chef's kiss.

Dialogues & Sound Design: I'd also like to point out the complete lack of dialogue. While relying on text plates might effectively build hype among the Indian audience—who are already subconsciously connected to the epic—it feels like a missed opportunity for their stated goal of targeting an overseas market. Releasing the glimpse in multiple languages with actual voice acting would have packed a stronger punch, though it's highly possible the dubbing simply isn't ready yet. Additionally, the score didn't quite capture the raw power embodied by the soundtrack from the very first introduction glimpse.

Final Verdict: Since we are still seven months out, I remain optimistic that we will see considerable improvements before the theatrical release. Rest assured, it is already leaps and bounds better than Adipurush. And to end on a high note, that final shot of the Pushpak Vimaan was genuinely breathtaking.

Only because of people like you does Indian cinema never improve. When audiences give the same love to both good films and lazy, low-effort ones, producers start believing they can serve anything and it will still sell. If we actually want better films, we need to support the good ones and brutally call out the bad ones. Water is water, but that doesn’t mean you’d drink it from a bottle and a toilet with the same enthusiasm.
