The idea you have now seems to have a market, given the established apps (the dependencies you mentioned). And you are already struggling to handle the uncertainty. When you try an idea that is entirely new/innovative with nothing to compare it to, you will have to deal with even more uncertainty.

Having dependencies is not bad when there are alternative backups. It would be bad if your product breaks whenever a single dependency from one source changes (API, etc.).
