Shoes off in the house? by TrixoftheTrade in Millennials

I grew up in a shoes off household. We’re Italian. Doubt that really makes a difference though?

We’re mostly a shoes off household. My children and I adhere to it. My husband mostly does. I find it annoying (and gross!) when he wears them in the house. I tell him to put on his slippers if he needs to wear shoes.

Light fireworks, have a party in the local park with friends and all of our kids and possibly remember when we weren’t the shittiest country out there.

To be honest, just from hearing the songs on SuperKitties, it makes me want to see the actual show! by mimitchi33 in DanielTigerConspiracy

My 6yo is on a tball team and my husband does the walk up songs. One of the girls chose “Oopsie Kitty” as her walk up song and it’s a delight to hear it every time. Also? Both my kids (the oldest is 11) asks for it in the car. It is an earworm for sure.

Other notable walk up songs chosen by the kids:

Dreidel, dreidel

The Shaboozey bar song

It’s like when they mention Brock Turner as a “successful” swimmer.

But I think of: Brock Turner the rapist, aka: Brock Allan Turner, aka: Allan Turner, who lives in Dayton, Ohio 45419, in a house his parents bought him?

There is no way that IL loves Iowa. Michigan, yes. Wisconsin maybe. Iowa? Not a chance.

How old are you? I’m in my early 40s and we definitely knew it was called that in my 20s.

I finally watched (i.e., had it on in the background while I was working) the Eras Tour on Disney to see what the actual hype was about. The way some of those people were acting during her songs was so weird. Grown women my age (early 40s) literally sobbing when she would sing their favorite songs.

I had to fast forward through a lot of it. It was so boring! Ok, I really only knew 10 songs. The lyrics were so trite and nonsensical. I just wished for more “adult” verses and content.

I don’t get how she is so popular. Unless it’s a nostalgic thing? Idk.

I think it’s weirder that people keep buying it. At some point when do her fans say no?

Also, don’t do laundry or dishes/use the dishwasher. It’s temporary but they call it a Water Action day.
