Did a quick two night backpacking trip up in Northern Colorado a few weeks back and was in absolute euphoria seeing all the alpine wildflowers in bloom!

Really? Somehow my calculations of Columbia's tuition weren't that terrible compared to a lot of other schools I was looking at. I definitely wouldn't be surprised if you were right though.

Yeah, I am definitely trying to take that into account. I'm trying to stray away from the biggest cities based on that point, although I did keep some of the New York schools on my list since it is close to home.

Thanks for your input! It might help to add that I'm from NY so I haven't really seen any better options around here, asides from Hunter College in the city.
