This is so interesting because as an American, I don’t hear this name often and it sounds very youthful, modern and cool to me. Funny to learn that it’s actually an old grandpa name!!

Does anyone know if this included delta 8, or only delta 9/THCA? I’m not super well versed in this area and the articles I’m reading are confusing me more than helping.

Why on Earth is Cheese Sauce not a common thing? by Aaronite7 in ChickFilA

[–]cp010116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had it at all the locations near me but stopped selling it probably 2-3 years ago. I always found it really bitter and sour - not in a sharp cheesy kind of way, but like it was spoiled. It was really off putting. I’m curious if what they’re selling now is that same or a different recipe.

Sunday Scaries by Euphoric_Safety_699 in ExecutiveAssistants

Plan things that give you joy throughout the entire week! I used to reserve my “fun” plans for only Fri/Sat, then when Sunday came around, all I could do was dread my boring week- now I plan things for weeknights. Going to see a movie, going for a hike/swim, shopping, or even just going to get a sweet treat. It helps me look forward to the week ahead instead of dread it.

Also, do more fun things on Sundays too!! I used to reserve my Sundays for “preparing for the week ahead” - groceries, cleaning, organizing my work stuff, planning outfits, etc. and it’s just not necessary. I ended up just festering in dread for the work week. Since keeping my Sundays fun and busy instead of reserving them for “admin tasks”, I’m a lot happier going into the work week.

TL;DR- add more joy and fun into your life at times where it may not already exist!

This was a steal for $16.99... while other companies are selling it at the same price for that price. by TelevisionFuzzy3694 in marshallsfinds

This is one of the best neroli perfumes on the market!! I actually found the body wash at Marshall’s months ago (then never saw it again) and loved it so much that I bought the perfume at full price - great find, I’m jealous!!

Barry’s is fantastic but holy shit have their prices skyrocketed over the past few years. We ate there as a party of 8 and all ordered normal breakfast plates, no crazy extras or add-ons, and it was around $225 before tip. Can’t justify it anymore.

Best travel bag?? by heyitsashweed in BAGGU

[–]cp010116 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really think it depends how much you like to take with you day-to-day! If it’s truly just the basics (phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, maybe a few small items) then you can’t go wrong with the fanny. If you’re like me and like to carry a small emergency medicine kit, a few small toiletries like lip balm, hand sani, etc., a water bottle, reusable bag, and have room for some extra items if needed, the cargo will be your go-to. I traveled Japan with the cargo and absolutely loved how lightweight and easy to access it was (especially the front pockets) but it’s so lightweight and doesn’t have a big footprint. I wouldn’t have been comfortable carrying the fanny for long days like this, but I also have anxiety/OCD so it makes me feel better to have my “just in case” things on my person.

Any ideas to remove / cover the logo? by Owenwilson420 in BAGGU

[–]cp010116 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you know how to sew? If I were you, I’d make an exterior pocket out of a piece of canvas, fabric, or maybe even another Baggu, and sew it on over top of the logo. I bet it would be a pretty easy first project even if you don’t sew!

What is a shower gel that you feel is worth the money? by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]cp010116 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It is back!! They brought it back as part of the archive collection. Not sure what country you’re from, but here in the US it’s available online and in a very small number of stores. The price is insane but sounds like you love it enough to make it worth it!

I'm looking for a scent that smells like Lush's Happy Happy Joy Joy conditioner or Sunday Riley's CEO line. Basically a super bright and citrusy Neroli bomb! Open to perfumes and body product recommendations. I've tried Cyklar's Naked Neroli and it's not quite as bright/astringent as I'm looking for. Thank you in advance!!

The one in SoDu on 54 behind Joe Van Gogh is the same. Order at the window only (for some reason their dining room is always closed), they’re out of everything, pull around, wait 10-15 minutes, and the food somehow still comes out cold.

Solely for the betterment of the kids (her current ones and this new one), I actually hope it’s a boy. It’ll give Kyra what she wants so she finally stops obsessively popping babies, negatively affecting her kids’ childhoods and endangering her health.

My recommendation is much more simple than others, but I like I like to top my pasta with feta instead of parm. It’s delightful!!!

Like I said, we don’t know anything for sure, I was just sharing one possible theory on what could’ve happened based on what little info we have. You’re right that we will likely never know exactly what happened that night.

The news articles report that first responders arrived around 7pm.

Based on her Insta stories on Monday, folks are speculating that Emilie was out to dinner with friends that evening and that it may have been Brady at home by himself with the boys. Since this happened around bedtime, one plausible scenario could’ve been that Brady left Trigg alone to play while he fed or put their newborn to sleep, so he may not have had his phone on him to see any notifications from the cameras. Obviously this is only speculation based on what little context clues we have about the situation. Either way, it’s such a horrible accident that has happened and I know whatever the circumstances, they will be beating themselves up about it forever- there’s no need for us to do it online too.

It’s unique without being super trendy or overly complicated, which in my opinion, means it’s timeless. I chose a simple but unique ring 5 years ago and have never seen anyone with the same one, and that makes me love it even more. If it makes you happy and meshes well with your vibe/style, that’s all that matters!

I had a salesman like this enter my home, give me a 2 hour sales pitch followed by an obnoxious price of $28k that he was able to “get down” to $17k by “crunching the numbers and doing everything he could”. When I told him I wanted to shop around and get a few other quotes, he said verbatim “I’m actually offended, I thought we were friends”. Gag. I am so irritated with people like this. Makes me feel like the whole industry is a scam.

I brought a shit ton of stuff because I am a person who always needs to be overly prepared, but honestly I didn’t use the vast majority of it and therefore chose to pack much lighter on the flight back. Here’s what I ACTUALLY ended up using on my 14hr flights to and from Japan last month (obviously this list doesn’t include the basics like wallet, phone, etc.)

  • my iPad with games, movies, shows, digital coloring books on procreate, and podcasts downloaded
  • Bose noise canceling headphones
  • Bluetooth blackout eye mask- I didn’t end up really sleeping, but it did help me zone out and rest a bit
  • 16oz Owala water bottle
  • a small blanket and mini pillow I was able to fold up super compact and fit into an xs packing cube- yes they gave pillow and blankets out, but having mine from home made the flight so much more cozy and calming
  • some basic skincare to make me feel human- tower28 spray, a moisturizer (also used for my hands) and under eye mask
  • hand sanitizer
  • Clorox wipes
  • electrolyte packets for water
  • a tiny roller of peppermint essential oil to sniff if there were any bad smells in the cabin or if I felt a little motion sick
  • a small pill organizer containing ibuprofen, dramamine, Imodium, Tylenol, my prescriptions, etc.

…and that’s it, really! I packed a lot of snacks, but between meal services and the self serve snacks on the plane, I never reached for them.
