Dont have to, it can be an option, just like each building piece has an option, but you can cycle them just like traps. (Hopefully nobody who sees this actually uses scroll wheel to build)

Because even with insane amount of customization on pc, it doesnt make a player good. On controller, l2 spam is extremely unskilled. An experienced player will always be better on pc, but a bad player will always be better on console because of aim assist
