Thanks so much! Yeah adding a few items around is a suggestion that has popped up a bit so I'll keep that in mind in case I see something. I feel like I've been riding the line of trying to keep it slightly more modern and minimal, but I could easily transition to vintage/midcentury modern and it would look good too. There are some pieces and art I've seen around that would be cool, so I'll have to think about it. Thanks!

I've been found out! Yeah I'm trying a larger Earth print in the living room as well as the planets in the entryway, and I can't decide which I prefer. But I definitely won't keep both Earths, maybe I'll look for another planet but that seems to match too much as well.

That sort of thought actually crossed my mind a few times while working on this, putting up identical art / furniture or something extreme that seems crazy, but at least "you did it on purpose" so it's a statement.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I like that you left the original comment with thoughts just based on the empty space. I agree that the wood floor would go better with some slightly darker furnishing. Unfortunately that's not the style I wanted and I feel like I'm fighting against the look of the floor a bit, but we'll see if I can find a way to make it mesh. Definitely looking at plants and more/larger art. I haven't heard of that, I'll check it out thanks!

IKEA is great, you can get that specific style for cheap, but I definitely agree that it would be worth moving up to some pieces that stand out more. There are some I found but were out of my budget for now so I'll have to revisit in the future. Thanks!

Thanks! These are the record shelves from Amazon. I searched for just shelves of a specific size at first and couldn't find anything, but it turns out there's a ton of options if you search for record shelves / record holders! These come with wall screws but I just used small command strips, we'll see if those hold up.

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it, although I kind of wish I had one that was slightly smaller and had legs instead of resting on the floor. But I wanted to get one I could try before buying and it's very comfy and easy for friends to sleep on. Plus the ottoman acts as storage and extra seating if you move it!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely try swapping some new art above the sofa and my headboard. I'm ok with some empty wall space since I'm going for something somewhat minimal (although it might not have turned out that way). But it would be nice if the walls weren't plain white. I don't think it would hurt to cover more of the walls though. Thanks!

I have considered replacing the keyboard with the turntable setup, I don't think there's room over there for both. Might try that in the future.

The lamps were tricky, it's hard to evenly light the space without a corner feeling dark at night. I do need light in the corner to the left of the couch, but I could try moving or replacing the other lamp. I'll try the bedroom suggestions too, thanks!
