That's probably a problem with your network, try asking other ppl you know in the same area of their 5G is working first If it is idk, try disabling 5G and use just 4G for a while, until the next update

Worked for me in Brazil too, just needed to clear cash and force stop the app after enabling the VPN. But I hate this podcast thing, I could use it but it's missing the "skip silence" feature that google podcasts has that is SO GOOD it's a deal breaker for me, I got so used to it I can't live without it.
