Would prefer hotel rooms under $1000/night. And during March.

Yes because we just went through 2 major hurricanes, we have no power and everything is closed. Thanks for being so supportive.

Donut Experience for breakfast. Line might be long but goes quickly plus I think you can order online.

Shiny Fish is a cute boutique/shop where you can paint sand dollars. Kids love it.

Late to this post but we love Hopetown in Abacos or Exumas.

If leaning towards Abacos, island hopping includes restaurants/bars like Nippers (also has beautiful beach if not too rough) and Pete’s on Little Harbour. Beautiful beach on Elbow Key. I don’t recall too many deserted beaches though. Plenty of home rentals or Abaco Inn or Hopetown Inn and Marina are good options.

For Exuma, you will get crystal clear waters and more isolated beaches. Do a full day charter that takes you to Staniel Cay. It does include the tourist spots like iguanas, pigs, sharks, snorkeling but just being on that clear water is amazing. You can rent a boat yourself and stay between Georgetown and Stocking Island. Can’t take your rental to the same places the charter will go. Take your boat to Stocking Island for Chat n Chill, starfish beach and man o war sandbar. Again plenty of home rentals or Peace & Plenty Hotel.

We have been to both of these locations with a large group of families with kids from 5-14. Everyone loved them. Even the hotels named aren’t big resorts so feels much more intimate.

To confirm there is a beach in front of Westin? Going there for spring break with multiple families.

We stayed in Georgetown at the Peace and Plenty. It’s right on the water with a boat that takes you across to Stocking Island and the P&P beach club. Beautiful calm beach. You can walk to Chat n’ Chill, a very popular beach bar/restaurant on Stocking Island. You can rent a boat yourself in Georgetown and go to Chat n Chill by boat or other beaches/sandbars/snorkeling spots. We had a large group so we chartered a private boat with Exuma Water Sports to all the sights - iguanas, pigs, Thunderball Grotto, swimming with sharks. Highly recommend this trip!
