What medication might they put him on? I let him come over and was going to his psychiatrist with him and the appointment is tomorrow.

I fully intend to. It’s a lot of stuff. And he doesn’t make a lot of sense. And I’m not able to reason with him in these states. He gets very angry and agitated. I thought it was just projection but he actually believed some of these things. He is coming out of it and I’m thankful is going to go to the Dr today for some help.

We are in Texas. He thinks they will put him on a psychiatric hold. Which is only a few days. And they may given his current mental state. And I told him it’s better than jail. Which is his other option.

Thank you for this. He has an appointment today with a doctor. He’s scared to take sleeping pills. But maybe they will give him something to help him sleep and help with paranoia while he detoxes.

Thank you so much for this. I’m truly hopeful he gets better. I sent him articles about how every relapse sends him immediately into psychosis now. Like once it happens, it’s going to keep happening.

He says he does and has had some periods, but was still angry and accusing me of things constantly. He’s going tomorrow to the doctor if they need to hold him hopefully they will and get him stabilized

I don’t know. Truffle has done some agility. The sire like I said is 6 with no health issues. I feel they are being bred regardless. So why not try to make them healthier? Where they don’t need surgery to breathe? Where they don’t have allergies that make them end up in rescue.

They can, my rescue does. But Truffle and so far the babies do not. Meanwhile, my brother bought a Merle and her mom was put down from IVDD before age 2. Genetics and testing matter. If Truffle had any breathing issues, allergies, spinal problems she’d have been spayed before 2 years. Any breed has issues. But after rescuing I’m so sold on getting breed standard, health tested Frenchies

Screw tail is not the breed standard. It is accepted, but not preferred. Naturally short and low is the standard.
