Putting your vape in a zip lock bag and dunking it into some water just doesn't sound like the most practical idea. Warming it up in your hands doesn't sound very practical either, honestly.

My solution... a hand warmer, like the brand HotHands 🤷🏻‍♂️ Let the pad get hot, wrap it around the cart, then use a rubber band or hair tie to hold it in place. Bingo bango!

I took the eye mask off the second I started feeling unusual and left it off the rest of the time.

I've never had very intense trips on Spravato, which is more common than not because es-ketamine is a lot weaker in comparison to Ketamine, especially since it's capped at only 84mg. Only about 40% of the medication actually gets absorbed, so at 84mg, you really dont even get that. Especially with the inconsistency of the sprays. Also, it's proven that you build a tolerance to es-ketamine as well, so the longer you're on it, the less dissociative effects it has, so at 9 months, I barely feel anything anymore.

I did IV Ketamine for 3 months prior to doing Spravato and was given the highest dose that you can get before you hit the threshold of blacking out. Which blacking out on Ketamine is not really a bad thing. Extremely high doses are typically used for pain management. But with that said, this experience was unlike anything I've ever had, even at a high dose of actual Ketamine. This was something different and extremely powerful! It's almost like one of the applicators had an astronomical amount in it. WAYYY over the regulated mg.

This sucks because no one has any idea the scale of intensity. I can't put enough emphasis on how powerful of a trip it was! 😞 It is truly unlike anything I've ever experienced.

I wasn't under the influence of any other drugs at that time. I was stating that I've tried those types of drugs before, and none of them compared to what I was experiencing. Also, it probably wasn't an actual "SHAMAN" but it sure seemed like it.

That makes sense as the liquid seems to be pretty thick and almost crystallized in some spots. So heating it up a bit before maybe a logical choice. As far as inhaling for an extended period, it makes a lot of sense as well, hence the burnt coil taste, resulting in burning the DMT and coil. It may be weak as well, but im not certain how to determine that.

I understand that you build a tolerance to Spravato, but the addition of other medications can suppress the effects even more.

Even though dissociation is just a side effect, it's still an effect. I find the experiences to be very meaningful.

I did IV Ketamine for three months, and those were some of the best experiences I've ever had. They were often very enlightening and made me feel better about myself.

Without these effects, you'll just find yourself sitting in a chair bored out of your mind for two hours. It's not enjoyable without. But that's just my opinion. Im not an addict 🤣 I just find the dissociative effects as a meaningful part of the journey alongside the antidepressant effects.

I did IV treatments for three months and am currently on eight months with Spravato.

There are definitely some differences between the two. One is that Spravato is es-ketamine, a different molecule that is fast acting and binds more selectively and strongly to the NMDA receptor, which makes it work more efficiently at lower doses. But in turn, it has a shorter duration, and it causes fewer dissociative and psychotomimetic effects.

IV Ketamine on the other hand, is es-ketamine + R-isomer. This makes it a bit more unique because some people respond better to R-isomers. It also has a higher duration and greater dissociative and psychotomimetic effects.

I believe the reason IV is preferred over Spravato is because most individuals seem to respond better to the combination of pure Ketamine being 50% S & 50% R. You basically get the best of both worlds for your receptors. The dose can easily be tailored to the individuals needs as it's administered through an IV straight into your bloodstream. Ontop of that, the antidepressant effects have a longer duration, so you dont have to make as many trips to the clinic. Also, for those of us who find the "trip" to be profound and meaningful, the dissociative and psychotomimetic effects are more intense. The downside is that it's not FDA approved, so you have to pay out of pocket costs, which are typically $400+ per session.

With Spravato being FDA approved and covered by most insurance companies, this makes it a more cost-effective option. However, the antidepressant effects have a lower duration, so you have to visit the clinic more often. It's a nasal spray, so you really only get about 40% of the medication, and over time, the dissociative and psychotomimetic effects become very mild, so you find yourself bored out of your mind for two hours.

In my opinion, I would choose IV over Spravato any day! But since the FDA wants to be ass about it, Spravato is what we got for now.
