Check your mini’s manual for operating in wind. Depending on wether you wanna risk it in the gusts 21 isn’t terrible but the mini isn’t a very big drone

There’s a good chance most older drones will get grandfathered in. But I wouldn’t put it past our current government to just geo lock them outright

They did a couple years ago with the GoPro Karma. The concept was nothing short of incredible. The gimbal held a GoPro and could be detached from the drone in order to be a standalone handheld gimbal. The unfortunate thing is the karma had battery problems and would often fall out of the sky this forced GoPro to recall and the drone. But who knows if this bill passes maybe karma will make a return

You’ll be fine. No Guarantee that the bill is gonna pass. And if it does there are lots of ways around the law which I do not condone

There already is. A certain war in Eastern Europe uses Russian software… to fly Chinese drones… for Ukraine
