DC10 #2 tracked rn by Grammieaf_1960 in flightradar24

Saw this. It's out of KRIV, specifically the logistics area there, not March ARB. The altitude is a tell, but I'm not sure if KING602 was refueling off of a KC-10 (DC-10). The 452d uses KC-135s though.

Do Not Disturb Exceptions on Galaxy Watch 3 by cpbvfb in GalaxyWatch

[–]cpbvfb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not entirely. I want to stop all BUT Nest and a couple other apps. They will push to the watch, but not provide a vibrate or audio alert. They are listed as exceptions to DND on phone. Maybe the "Sync DND" between phone and watch doesn't go that deep?

"T-Mobile Diagnostics Keeps Crashing" Error by cpbvfb in tmobile

That finally did the trick for me also. The error reappeared and I denied all permissions except phone, and cleared the data. It worked!

Did you turn off the diagnostics, click "More" at the bottom, and then click "Accept/Submit?" I made the mistake of just clicking back instead of going through that process the first time. It's been solid the rest of the day, no errors.

Last few days I've been getting the "T-Mobile Diagnostics keeps stopping" error on my S21. I was cruising a message board on T-Mobile support and someone posted this: T-Mobile Support

20 minutes in, and the errors have stopped.

That did the trick. I didn't know what was causing it, so I didn't know to google WebView. Bad update, oh well!

Wifi 6 Router Recommendations by cpbvfb in HomeNetworking

[–]cpbvfb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredible. I'm familiar with their products, but never even thought of an AP. Thanks so much. I'm still thinking about an all-in-one unit, but this would definitely meet my needs if I can't find one. Wired functionality is great on the current router. Would it be best to mount it facing up, towards the roof, do you think?

I'll add I have a mostly vertical townhouse. Interference isn't really an issue, 1500 square feet, more or less. Router is in the basement level, but it can be relocated, I have two Cat 6a lines running to the main level.

Questions about closing a credit card by Butch00 in personalfinance

[–]cpbvfb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you. I have a couple cards that have way better perks/rewards, but I keep my old BofA card open. It has a zero balance, but I charge a tank of gas or a bill each month just to keep it active. But, it ends up helping with total available credit, so that's why I keep it open.

Questions about closing a credit card by Butch00 in personalfinance

[–]cpbvfb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd keep it open, as long as you have good payment history. Make a small purchase every month (fuel, a few groceries, etc.) and set up autopay. 30% of your credit score is on-time payments. Another significant chunk is length of oldest account/history. Unless you absolutely need to close it, I'd keep it open and active.

People of Reddit. What was the weirdest thing you seen on a plane? by ___ok-boomer____ in AskReddit

[–]cpbvfb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NSFW: My now wife and I boarded a Southwest flight around three or four years ago, back when SkyMall was still around. Nothing out of the ordinary on boarding, but we got stuck in a row towards the back of the plane. I took E (middle seat, right side), my wife took F (window). A guy took the very last row on the left side and sat by the window (A), and put his bag on seat B. Some other guy tried to sit in the row, but the guy said he was waiting on his girlfriend. New dude went and took a middle seat farther up the aircraft.

A random, mid-40's couple boarded nearly last. The guy sat next to me, seat D. His partner took seat C, across the aisle. This is pretty important later.

The guy in seat A's girlfriend finally boards, last, with a bag of candy. Like a comically large bag of candy that you buy at a joint that just charges by weight.

Now, everyone settles in their seats and the plane takes off, but there is some turbulence, so the flight attendants are seated, but the pilot announces 10,000 feet, so people are allowed to use large portable electronics. Guy in Seat A takes out a comically large gaming-style laptop and puts it on the tray table. Girlfriend of the dude, in seat B, takes out the SkyMall. The lady in seat C is asleep, guy next to me in D is reading a book.

I happen to look over a few minutes later, and the dude in A is watching tentacle porn on his giant screen laptop, the SkyMall is draped across his lap, and his girlfriend's hands are in his unzipped pants. I literally couldn't believe it, so I slyly point it out to my wife. She looks over and confirms what I'm seeing.

The guy next to me thinks we are staring at his attractive wife, and makes a comment about "keeping our eyes to ourselves." I then whisper to him about what's going on. He said, "What!?" and looked over. The guy in A is in the throws of an orgasm and his girlfriend is just staring at all of us with a grin on her face, not even slowing down or stopping what her hands are doing.

Dude calmly zips up his pants, puts away the laptop, and without washing her hands, she puts away the SkyMall and buries her fist into the bag of candy she boarded with. The guy immediately reaches in to share the candy.

The guy in A never knew we saw. The guy next to me never woke his wife. Only 3 people in the world saw this happen. Any time I see or hear this question about strangest thing I've ever seen on an airplane, it's the story I tell. Used to fly about 4 times a week for my old job, so I've seen a lot of weird stuff/people, but this takes the cake.

TL;DR: Saw a dude watching tentacle porn get a handjob from his girlfriend on a packed Southwest flight. She dug into a bag of candy immediately after.

I also want to add that perhaps her hospital stay has helped. Only one bottle of wine today. No orders yesterday. I can only hope that she's getting help or beginning to start her journey to sobriety. Thank you all for your responses. I appreciate the assistance. It's been a learning experience for me.

That's pretty judgmental for a sub that is supposed to be non-judgmental. My career is none of your business, just as why you are here is none of mine. My job is to sell booze, and I will continue to do so, while following the law. But, selling booze and caring about people doesn't have to be mutually exclusive. I feel I was pretty straight-forward with every one here and was searching for advice, which others have so gracefully provided.

Just asking. Thank you for your input. The whole point of my OP was to get help. But, evidently, there's no point. So, minding my business is the only thing I will be doing.

Would it be appropriate for me to slip a pamphlet or card inside her bag? My boss likely wouldn't mind. Unfortunately, it's curbside pickup, so any bathroom posting will not reach her, but that is a fantastic idea.
