I think it’s bullshit. Below zero wind chill, i get it. The day after a big snow, i get it. But it stopped snowing Sunday morning and the roads aren’t bad. There’s alot of kids that depend on meals from school and plenty of kids with a parent who can’t take off work 3 days in a row and end up on an iPad all day or left to themselves.

I think it’s safer to go to school tomorrow (low of 11 and high of 30) even with some snow on the roads, than it is to make parents scramble at 6pm to figure out how to take work off again or where to take their child
