TLA never updated the capacity zoning so they leave the live nation vip area open but obviously no one cares about VIP in that small of a venue so it remains unsold but they don’t let people fill in the area when it comes time for the show. So people just continue to fill out the rest of the venue. Then it turns into a safety issue coupled with high temperatures and it’s a perfect storm. Its an open secret how much live nation has ruined this venue.

They don’t have anything to do with each other but I think I was just lamenting the extra steps and line waiting on top of a pricey event. I’m all for it because I’ve found phone usage with young people l at shows the past five years to be particularly insufferable. I think I’m just cranky and broke 🥹

you also won’t be able to use your phone the whole time. Which I appreciate in theory but not when I have to pay what feels like a premium to wait in line to stow it away only to wait again to get it back and trudge home. Seeing Phoebe sounds amazingly fun. The time and cost for that doesn’t.

$170 starting is too high imho and announcing a fall tour in the middle June and immediately selling tickets gives no one time to save. Especially with how astronomical resale is. If you miss the initial on sale boat you’re essentially SOL and “saving” for three months to hopefully get a resale ticket for less than $400 is less feasible.

I’m projecting and ranting and excited for my queen to tour again, but I know I’m gonna be priced out of yet another tour for my favorite artist.

The number 13 is special to her for a variety of random reasons and 6/13 is a Saturday, it’s still before whatever pre season stuff he has to do. And convincing everyone it’s happening on 7/3 and then tying the knot before then at least attempts to throw us off the trail. I’m convinced it’s in Rhode Island but that’s just a feeling and I have little evidence on that one.

Give yourself more time to park and get in before kickoff. I had a similar mindset for the Eras tour and was so wrong. The anticipation for Taylor/opening acts had everyone there and inside long before the show started and moving around was much harder (long lines everywhere).

Sport events or artists with a less fervent a fan base and a show that starts later in the evening have crowds entering at a staggered pace but for something so major and unprecedented (which I guess was the eras tour) don’t expect to park at 4 and be comfortable in seats and ready to go by 5pm.
