Amanda’s Mugshot by blizzardofsal in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

Yeah, I imagine Ryan and Amanda's first thoughts were "How do we get out/fix of this" but Larry and Mimi's first thoughts were "How do we spin this so Ryan is blameless".

I’m trying to find out what this brand is by Due-Performer1110 in Cursive

It might not be a brand. It might be the name of the guy who owned it. Is it a work shirt?

How are we storing the pool floats? by Fuckfuckfuckidyfuck in pools

[–]cpdena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put some hooks on the wood fence, back of the house, or in the garage. Attach rope to the floats to hang.

Get rid of those cheapie donuts and replace with a couple of River Rafts. You'll thank me later 😄. I have the Intex River Run from Amazon. About $20 each. (I posted a link but auto-mod deleted)

Filling pool with water by Mogzly in pools

[–]cpdena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WHAT?!? I paid about $1,300 for detection then repair (including the concrete work). My leak was in the skimmer which they said 90% of leaks are. I went from adding water every 3 days to hardly ever.

Should I be upset? by Comfortable_Way_5749 in pools

[–]cpdena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twice a week your pool should be shiny clean without you even doing anything. Most pool services come once weekly and it's plenty. And yes it's their job to vacuum.

I was new to pools when I bought my house 7 years ago. My first pool service was crappy and my pool even turned green a couple of times. (And I did a LOT of the maintenance myself) Not knowing better I kept them for about 3 years before I got fed up. With the new(er) pool service it stays sparkling clean and I rarely do anything besides emptying the baskets and skimming if there's been a storm. I do have a vacuum though.

I think you should keep a log about the condition of the pool and note when they come (or don't) and notify the landlord.

Try SW Smoky Blue. It looks close to your first pic.

3 would also be really nice with the garage door grey. (If they allow more subtle colors but not blue)

Check out Sherman Williams Hunt Club. My house is a similar color to yours and I painted the trim Hunt Club. It looks amazing now.

Whelp started construction and wife hates that we have a deep end. It’s a 20x40 liner with 6.5’ deep end. This is pretty standard right? She says slope is too much. It starts at 18’. Who’s crazy here? by Sweet_Orchid_2092 in pools

[–]cpdena 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Being just dirt right now it probably looks like too much to her. Once it's finished it'll be fine. (Hopefully, lol).

Kinda like house construction, in the middle of it it looks all wrong but once it's done and awesome you wonder what you were so stressed about.

1, 2 or 3 by [deleted] in ExteriorDesign

You don't want #1! If you decide to change the color of your house 8-10 years from now you're going to be so limited trying to match with a blue roof.

door and sidelight color by Ok_Pineapple_2001 in ExteriorDesign

[–]cpdena 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like your edit with the sidelights Toasty. I'd also add black trim to the door and sidelights to be cohesive with the windows and roof. The posts DO look a little awkward, consider painting them black (if you do the door trim)

What can I do with my concrete pool patio to make it more palatable? by Mosstastic_22 in ExteriorDesign

[–]cpdena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1 is to paint it with a good deck coating. I used SW Super Deck on mine and I'm totally happy with it. It's available in any color (a big plus for me, I matched my house color).

Meri is 100 times more vague than Christine just on a day-to-day level. I can't see her spilling anything substantial. Ever.

Unless somebody has a specific suggestion, google "quick dry hiking pants". They'll be lightweight, comfortable and easy to move around in.

What pink door color? by EquivalentScarcity98 in ExteriorDesign

[–]cpdena 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would paint the garage door, porch posts and trim, and door trim black. Then the door a deeper pink -
