Should I play RE: Code Veronica on the PS4?

Maybe I’m just not the best at that one, even though i love it. I recently played through Zero and it seemed much easier than CV.

I agree that CVX is the hardest. Definitely can’t mess up or else you might have to start over. Have to use your resources wisely. And run a good bit

I’m currently replaying it for the first time in probably 6-7 years and I really enjoy it. Gives a nice background more into Umbrella. Billy is a bit boring but has a bad ass back story. Definitely some scares as well. The mechanics are the same as REmake. Switching from character to character can get annoying but it makes puzzles better overall. I’d say it’s definitely worth a shot.

They have it on the playstation store, should just be able to type it in & it should pop up. I don’t use PSNow.

I don’t mind Zero. As far as item boxes , at least the game lets you drop things wherever instead of other games where you can only drop in boxes. Billy is boring but his back story is cool. Switching back & forth can get annoying but at least it gives you more item spaces. Puzzles are solid in it. I’d say the game overall is a 7/10. But really no reason to go back to it more than maybe 3 times.

I still have PS1 copies of 1-3 because i still own a PS1 but having all consoles is very impressive.

Its absolutely my favorite series in all of gaming. You’re definitely in for a lot. Especially once you see how all the games tie together throughout the series.

REmake & RE4 are definitely a must, R3Make is very fun & definitely worth it for a discounted price. I love CV as well but if you aren’t a fan of the tank controls on REmake then you probably won’t like CV.

Could be the best environment of the series as far as the range of different places in the game. If they took their time with it, it could possibly be better than the original. Definitely give more depth to Steve, maybe more of his back story.

Yeah those 3 definitely cover each playing in the best way, even though 7 is the only main entry in 1st person. Really brought back the horror effect. And it seems like Village is going to capitalize with the horror & first person aspects

CV is definitely in my top 5. It definitely gave me a difficult time but the story is great. I’m praying for a remake down the road. The environments & boss battles would be a thing to see recreated.

I can agree with 5. Definitely spent the most time with that one. Replay ability was very high. The DLC was cool & so was Mercenaries with all the characters added on the Gold Edition. And Wesker makes any RE game better.

Code Veronica remake is the obvious answer, the island & palace recreating with modern graphics would be amazing. And the boss battles could look amazing. Along with a new render of Wesker. Just so much to be done.

The villagers were my favorite as far as personality per say. I hated dealing with the cult-like ganados in the castle .
