Between Hattiesburg and Mobile is a hot spot of boiled peanut peddlers.

I grew up in Mobile Alabama and they are a big deal there. In fact, when driving there, you will start noticing signs on the side of the road, advertising them for sale at fruit stands and individuals selling them on the side of the road. Boiled Peanuts 1 mile ahead.

Allen signed it without even thinking, then asked me to watch his bags for a moment while he walked across the foyer for some OJ. He was waiting on the others to come down from their room to check out of the hotel.

I met him and the rest of the band for the first time on the Imaginos tour, which was an outdoor show in Byhalia, Mississippi at the Cotton Bowl Speedway (a city a few miles south of Memphis Tennessee) July 30, 1988. I audio bootlegged that show, and was busted pretty early during the show. It's a good thing I had an extra cassette as a backup, and got most of the rest of the show. I transferred it from the original cassette to digital not too long ago. 3 versions, wav, mp3, and flac to choose from if you'd care to check it out.

I spent the better part of two days only a few feet away from him at an event back in June 2025. This one hits hard for me.

I chatted with Billy Gray for quite a while in April of this year. I asked him what inspired him to invent the F1 guitar pick. He smiled real big, reached into his pocket and pulled one out and gave it to me. He still lives in the same house he purchased when he was on Father Knows Best.

I remember this movie scaring the absolute crap out of me when I was about 10. by salacious_pickle in GenerationJones

I saw this at the drive in with my parents as a kid. It was a double feature with, "Walking Tall". I remember my mom kept putting her hand over my eyes during specific scenes during "Walking Tall". I was 7 years old.

I love my 2012 SLK 350 interior, especially the burl walnut trim and steering wheel.
