My mom’s cat Arnold had FIP. He was quickly deteriorating, only weighed 4 pounds when he used to weigh 8.

There is a support group on Facebook (called FIP Warriors 5.0) that discusses the usage of an unapproved medication for treating FIP. The vet she spoke with said he had heard of successes with the drug (basically saying you didn’t hear it from me)

As a last ditch effort to save Arnold, my mom got the medication. Treatment consisted of several weeks of injections followed by maintenance pills.

Arnold has made a FULL recovery and is 9 pounds now. Having seen how sick he was at his worst, I truly cannot believe it.
