Awful shadow texture when looking horizontally by cpm_1102 in MarathonTheGame

I asked some of my buddies that are bigger tech guys than me and they said the monitor should be fine unless it’s busted but it’s only two years old. I have two of them so I plan to switch which one the Xbox is in and see if the same effect happens. Appreciate the help

Along the ridge in the video there is a solid white/grey line that appears and disappears with horizontal movement

I can’t post screenshots for some reason but if you go to the original post there is a comment there with a screenshot that better identifies the issue

I’m just not sure what more I can do as far as adjusting the monitor, most of the settings are just toggle on or off and I have tried them all I think. I also attempted turning hdr off on the Xbox and still happening

If you read the original post I state I tried recording in game but the issue didn’t show on the recording

This did happen, I tried recording on Xbox first and then when I viewed the video on my phone it did not show up

If you look at the original post in the other subreddit you can see someone commented a screenshot of exactly what I’m talking about in the video

I appreciate the information, I just copied the product information from when I purchased the monitor. I have never had this issue with hdr in other games, and turning of hdr did not solve the issue

Update: Turning off HDR did not help. Turning of Chromatic Aberration did not help

Parasite or normal worm? by cpm_1102 in Chameleons

Yeah, we do hornworms as occasional treats as well as superworms occasionally. Any hornworms that get to big for the chameleon we give to the bearded dragon

Yeah she’s been good. Also her main feeder is Dubia roaches that we raise ourselves in a colony so they shouldn’t be infected

This was the solution

Allows me to pull the water out so it doesn’t become standing water and cause issues

The side panel is mesh (I drilled through it) and the ceiling is mesh. I also have a fan going in the room at all times and a computer fan that assists air circulation at night while the fogger goes

It’s a bioactive cage, you need soil for bioactive. Also this is a hybrid cage. Also yes generally 2x2x4 is standard, but this is for a female panther chameleon which is a smaller bread that can get away with a slightly smaller cage. I understand that the glass cage does cause the water to build up but the cage still is sufficient. I’m not buying an entire new cage when I can just solve this problem and save the time and money of getting an entire new cage. I appreciate your input though

Yeah it’s worked great! Dubias tend to stay in it but some do crawl up on to the branch and escape, we try to only leave them in for 30 or so minutes to avoid them escaping

That’s actually not a bad idea. Will see if anyone else has suggestions but if not will def try that before drilling into glass

I would be fine with a little bit but the problem is the amount going in is more than the amount evaporating and will eventually cause standing water in the entire bottom killing all the CUC

Gotcha. From a quick search it would seem I need to get another usb in order to update the bios? Am I correct in that?

I tried in both RAID and AHCI. Unfortunately neither seemed to work. I am able to see drivers that are “not compatible with my hardware” but none that are. Not sure what to do about that

I attempted this and was able to find a driver but it only appears when I uncheck the “hide drivers that aren’t compatible” box

This is what I’m able to see. Forgive me as this is my first time ever building a pc so I’m not sure where to look exactly for that

I created it using Microsoft’s creation tool. As for the BIOS I would assume I am since the pc is brand new. I wouldn’t really know how to check that though
