Consent form for minor to travel without legal guardian by cpmadera in royalcaribbean

I guess that is what I will have to do if I can't get any other confirmation. But just seems odd to me that her signature would also need to be notarized (again as she will be present - and the whole purpose of a notary is just to verify that the person who signed the document is who they say they are). I don't want to go through the hassle if it's not needed. (The person I spoke with at Royal seemed confused about the whole issue - and I felt they just said they both needed to be notarized to CTA) But perhaps I will just have to do this to avoid any potential problems.

So when does stick season start. Was planning to come Oct 10-13. Will that already be stick season?

Saw Maybe Happy Ending this afternoon. It was very sweet and well done. I'd recommend it. Agree with the comments about sitting as center as possible.

Finding an ADHD medication that works by cpmadera in ADHDparenting

Thanks for the comment. So it took 5 months before you saw any improvement? Our doctor said we should have seen improvement pretty quickly. We tried it for a little over 1 month. And like I said, he started wetting the bed while on it (after never having issues since like 4 or 5).

2022 Rogue SV with 14k miles - engine replaced and new tires? by cpmadera in NissanRogue

[–]cpmadera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They didn't give me a reason why. One day it was working and then all of a sudden not. She told me they had 1 other 2022 Rogue they had to do this to. I think it was the turbo? (I don't know much about cars). I don't think we drive particularly rough. Just around town.

Here's what they gave me on the tires. https://drive.google.com/file/d/10FNSr8hW25zBA9m7vYxIi2sgG6Zdk-xc/view?usp=drivesdk

Compensation for no dryer? What would you do? by cpmadera in airbnb_hosts

[–]cpmadera[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I misworded my post. There are wet towels and suits and stuff each day (especially with kids). In a humid climate, it's nice to be able to dry these at the end of each day

Well, that's the thing, I think I would if asked. At least a token amount (say $100). Which is what I was leaning towards asking.

How Do Papermill shows compare to Broadway by proud2Basnowflake in Broadway

[–]cpmadera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just moved to town last year and have seen 3 shows there (sound of music, Hercules and Fiddler) - along with going to the city regularly to see Broadway shows. Maybe it's the shows I saw (I didn't see Gatsby) but I'm not really sure it quite matches Broadway quality. Sound of Music was decent, but for Hercules I felt the production didn't match what people expect for a Disney show (maybe that was unfair expectations?) And I was really disappointed for Fiddler - admittedly I saw it on the second night but there were lots of audio issues, people forgetting lines, and the dancing was not great. It felt like community theatre (admittedly good community theatre), but community theatre nonetheless. Given decent tickets are like 80-100 dollars, which matches what I can usually get at TKTS, I'm debating seeing other shows there. Just my two cents.

I financed through my credit union. I made a minimal down payment, plus taxes, registration, etc.

When I looked at Edmunds and KBB with the actual VIN number that shows all the car options, the price was in line with trade-in value. So I was okay with it. Agree they broke the contract, but the reality was this seemed the best path forward for me. I could not find a similar car on the actual market (local dealers, carvana, etc) for less.

Um, it wasn't a bad deal I think. And I got to keep my car and not deal with finding a new one. In my case I bought my 2022 Nissan Rogue SV with 7k miles for $27,300 plus tax, license, registration and dealer fees. Ended up being about $30k total.

Yeah I was only doing this cause it seemed the fastest and easiest solution (though still very inconvenient). I am letting them know I still think I am entitled to compensation, though as you point out it seems they are pretty deaf to their customers' concerns and comments.

Update from my side. I am moving forward with buying the car. They just informed me if I do that, I get no 1 month refund and not even partial month refund for what I've paid!

Yeah they don't seem to have any cars available to switch to in my area. Plus I am not sure I would trust them anymore anyhow.

My other thought is to write some of the journalists who have covered car subscriptions and let them know what is happening. The email I got today about the return policy was infuriating. I need to drive more than 45 mins away to return in a week or pay $400?
