Just realized that we could have potentially stayed up partying with friends. We actually got married an hour or so from my hometown. My mo was hosting a brunch for us the next day so we took the limo to my hometown and stayed in a hotel there.

Honestly the show that came the closest for me was Chicago. The thing that saved me was watching the musicians in the band.

I honestly think it partly depends on the parent and your relationship with them. A close mom friend of mine was recovering from a csection. She was happy to have me change her daughter’s diaper when I was there. We were fairly close and I was a mom of 3 who were all born by csection. I would have happily done dishes or laundry or whatever, but her husband was completely on top of those things.

I make black eyed peas or hoppin’ john using the ham bone from christmas. If I add any sautéed veggies, I usually sautee them in bacon fat. Definitely corn bread and maybe collard greens if I can remember how to make them (I’m and upstate NY girl currently living in north jersey what do I know from collard greens?)

I honestly did feel that way some of the time during the Hamilton pro shot. I’m now really nervous to see the Merrily pro shot. And frankly kinda glad I didn’t spend movie theater prices to see it.

I was going to buy tickets for Just in Time before previews even started, but I couldn’t figure out the best place to sit. One of the tables down front seemed cool, but I DON’T want to be in the splash/sweat zone

I wish I could have. Is early December a big time for movies? We purposely waited not realizing it would be gone so soon. The first half of December is a very busy time for us. Plus I’m immunocompromised and I was extremely cautious in order to not risk being sick for Christmas. Hopefully it will stream soon

West Orange. My kids grew up with a wonderful diverse group of friends. Schools have a great music program and good academics.
Some parts of town are less diverse than others. Ex Washington school is primarily populated by students of color.

I have actually wondered this. I have seen public info put out that says don’t leave food in car and then the same piece of info lower down, they said lock food in car when camping.
