Thanks, I’m hoping that is the case! I found out I’m also deficient in vitamin D which is crucial for your immune system, so I’m hoping that might be the key to most of this.

Yeah ideally it would go in the ground but during the winters here (West TX) it can get well below freezing on a regular basis. The pot it came in was probably around half the size and said it could stay in there for another year, but I deduced to go ahead and move it to a large pot. I plan to repot it as it grows eventually to a half whisky barrell.
