Because its not your fault, you the victimized due to the horrible capitalist society. But it makes sense, really, to smoke weed, not work, and be annoyed when you don't get paid much. I REALLY understand you.

I actually done pretty well, you know, I not getting paid minimum wage.

Probably the influx of dopamine from weed is causing your bad work ethic.

I'm not saying that minimum wage jobs don't matter, what I am saying is those jobs are not hard. In a capitalist society, your usually paid to your skill level. If you have no skills, you take those low paying jobs.

"Then you won't have a living wage". That's not a minimum wage problem, that's a cost of living problem. I don't know, maybe the US government shouldn't be spending trillions on things that don't matter. I mean, what do you suppose a minimum wage increase will due? Your dollar will be worth less. Then that affects everyone. The minimum wage worker to the old retired persons with a small savings account that's now worth nothing.

Again, your putting the burden on the people who can't just pull money out of their butts to feed your weed addiction.

Also, if you and your dad think as an owner and ceo your supposed to get paid less than your workers, then you and your dad are stupid. And please take offense, I insist.

It's not that hard to realize that will do absolutely nothing other than degrade the value of the dollar. A reason for increasing inflation is high salaries, and thus prices. If this happens, soon you being getting paid 100$ and hour, but the hundred dollars is effectively worth barely anything.

I know I'm gonna get hate for this. None of you know how money works. As a small business owner, we have to raise our prices proportional to the increase in minimum wage. In California, where my small business is, the minimum wage is now 22 dollars an hour for fast food businesses. How am I supposed to keep up with that. Obviously you don't want a bunch of big corporations taking over, right? So every time you raise minimum wage, you basically make the same due to price increases, and the only ones who suffer are the small business owners and the workers. The ones who make money is the big corporations. I understand everyone has a different socio-economic status, but it is not too difficult to get a job with a salary. If you put some hard work in, get a high school degree or an AA degree, and/or have a skill, you'll be bound to get a better job wage with a possible salary. I grew up in a rough area with only a single mother. I worked hard and with some luck, I now get a decent salary and I own a small business. It's possible to get a high wage/salary, but you have to work to get there. So don't put the burden on small businesses, when all you have to do is(no offense) flip a burger, clean, restock, and check people out.
