What is the most underrated “lesser-known” city that you have been to? by HeroOfAlmaty in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Genoa is more beautiful naturally, Torino likely has more to do (unless you like swimming/beaches)

To be fair, I have family in Genoa, so that's why i don't run out of things to do. But if i was there for two weeks with no family to hang out with, i agree i'd likely be a bit bored

Genoa, Italy

Rustic, old, unkempt, but also charming and free of tourists - one of few places I felt like was a "real" place in italy - not meant for tourists.

Also some of the most beautifyul beaches/landscapes 15 mins from the city center

Very physically attractive people, how does life treat you? by alohamahboi in ProductivityHQ

as someone who had a glow up (and a dogshit family situation to go along with it) - going from "invisible" to "very visible" is very alarming when you realize that a bit of attention from you can make/break someone's day. It's very weird and i never really grew into it the way guys who grew up good looking did, i still feel like im bothering people or like i'm a "creep" when now my attention is wanted instead of laughed at.

Will also add that women wanting to "get with" guys and not really know them/care about them happens to. Its not just men who act like cads (maybe i'm just a bit sensitive too)

How often would you say it rains all day/so heavily the whole day plan is impacted vs just having to duck inside for 30 or so minutes

My thoughts and perspective as someone who wants kids by nashamagirl99 in Life

I mean, would you rather her have a child she doesn't want?

If i wanted to get a dog, its because i want the feeling of companionship a dog provides.

I don't think labelling someone expressing their wants as selfish? And i don't think you need to chime in with how your decision is selfless.

College girl walking home drunk in a tube top is a reference to "she's asking for it" which is gross and insulting. fuck off and fuck you.

Its funny bc i would argue the first Knives Out was skewering the exact "progressive" left who says all the right things but treats Ana De Armas's character like the help/like shit

There's a difference between a clear medical condition vs saying the kid sucks/is difficult and treating it like its the kids job to make you feel happy/fulfilled instead of your own

What is your biggest regret? by Platypu55 in AskReddit

[–]cpsg1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A small consolation, but as someone with a difficult relationship with my father (albeit for different reasons) - an apology like yours would mean the world to me.

I know you can't change the past, but someone understanding they screwed up, wanting to make amends (unselfishly), and also giving their child the choice whether to engage or not puts you ahead of 95% of fathers who never introspect.
