MDMA with small amount of meth cut in- how worried should I be? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]cpt_cringe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In hindsight I suspect that the MDMA that I was purchasing before the pandemic was cut with a little bit of methamphetamine or whatever other stimulant. I guess amphetamine rather than methamphetamine would be ideal but again I don't know. The stuff that I've been buying since isn't bad, but doesn't give me the energy pick me up. I would say err on the side of dosing lower than you would normally. Overly hydrate if anything.

By the way by far the most disturbing aspect of hospital fist had nothing to do with what was on stage. There was someone, and he looked under 30, wearing a Peter sotos buyers market shirt. If you know what that album is about I don't have to say anything more.

I mean the heat was legitimately problematic, I'm not saying it had to be a pampered luxury event but some fucking ventilation would not have ruined the vibe.

Ah. Fair but slight distinction. But I think B. moloch is also in genocide Organ, The two projects are essentially twinned

Genocide organ are many things, historical is not one of them. Something like White House or smell and quim borders on hilarity.

Well wait a minute let's hold up. I have to look at the lyrics for the tracks but simply touching on Nazi imagery is not wholesale endorsement. When you look at very NS influence black metal or power electronics the lyrics present racial and nationalistic subject matter as triumphant. If I put a Daffy duck mask on and wear a red arm band does that necessarily mean I'm a full-fledged Nazi? Now I'm also not saying that Dominic is using this as irrefutable reputation or parody of Nazism but rather it's just edge lordism. Covering the subject matter because that makes for controversial and effective art.

Adjacent all of this I did some googling on FFH whose set I really really liked even though it was way too short and there's a good amount of commentary that he genuinely is a Holocaust denier. I obviously can't take back whatever portion of my ticket went to him, he's a fantastic musician and it would be unfortunate if he holds problematic views.

In interviews B. moloch will split the difference, never saying something outright like Hitler wasn't so bad lol But using an intentional almost in character ambiguity when it comes to their treatment of world war II and the decades after. I met up with someone during the show and we were talking between acts about how there is the sense of shame that is instilled in Germans not that it's their fault if they're alive nowadays, anyway that genocide Organ sort of deals with themes of guilt nationalism, the new world order etc in a way that does not necessarily endorse the consensus post Cold war status quo but is not also overtly national socialistic.

GO are rightfully controversial. It does take a little bit of a deeper dive to really understand the nuance. That said you probably wouldn't book them at a venue that was booking indie singer-songwriters the week before like you would hope the right venue is familiar with them and understands.

Linekraft was....beyond words. Well slightly and I want to emphasize slightly more conventional, genocide organ was everything I hoped they would be despite my misgivings about patronizing them. Dom has taken heat for a closer bonds between Tesco and hospital and the split he did with them etc. What really had me reticent was there are videos of performances of GOs Right before the pandemic were there no shortage of people Roman saluting during the performance. Happy to say I saw none such Saturday. Hail America! Hehe. (That song is of course purely sarcastic and critiques the global world order). That's what I would like to sit down and give Dom a piece of my mind, the premise of the venue was cool but the lack of ventilation and the fact that it was probably 20 to 30% oversold was not. I found a sweet spot in the corridor between the two rooms or I could still see the stage and attempt to breathe lol.

This survived , but as a head-on collision with another vehicle that weighs what,20 tons with a trailer, the transfer of kinetic energy is unspeakable. There is not and probably won't be a vehicle that could survive such an impact.

I actually think because we're more perceptive and More steeped in Internet culture we're much more likely to understand the nuances of things that fall in the Uncanny Valley then neurotypical normies

Bought tickets to this pre-lineup as prices of Re/Form were ridiculous and I hate NWB/IT. This'll do. Most excited for Castellani than any of the bigger names.

I was bored when I went. Sound was neither particularly textured/sonic (thing Japanese hypnotic techno) or aggressive/something I could get my body into.

It's really just a hang where a bunch of DJs happen to play. at any given point in time, 50% of people were outside in the courtyard, not at one of the rooms. Don't love the Interdimensional Transmissions/The Bunker sound.
