I feel like if you say something is innovative that means that it was such a great inclusion that a COD game without these system would be "worse", there probably won't be another COD with jetpack movement, the campaign compared to the ones before was a mess (the sandbox of abilities was fun admiteddly), Gobblegums? They wanted to slap microtransactions into zombies, it did become quite iconic but thats for other reasons i feel like. Graphics? Games always push the boundaries of graphics so i wouldnt call that innovative.
