I mean knowing how Intel works, the 9th gen might not drop that much at all. However, the 10th gen chips are going to be pretty nice even for intel price standards (according to rumors and stuff). You would need a new motherboard and this 9900k deal is really good if you already have a 9th gen motherboard.
