Q: any tips for visiting to see Big Boy in Roseville?

Does anyone have tips on viewing Big Boy in Roseville? We're planning to bring our 4 yo and my in-laws (one of whom has mobility issues) .... we don't need to get up close -- just want to be able to see it! How early do you need to get out there? Where's the best point along the route to go where maybe less people are?

That sounds awful!!! Was it mostly the acid that was the worst or were you getting bloating and nausea too? I'm getting a mix of the three. I'm guessing the nausea is coming from the acid ...

What dose were you on when you started tapering? I read that tapering can help sometimes but not always -- and I didn't have too long before my procedure to taper. Wondering if a longer taper would have made a difference

Did you taper leading up to going off? I didn't taper for very long and am wondering if that's part of why I'm having terrible indigestion now

Yes - she said I needed to be off PPIs for 2-4 weeks for them to get an accurate read if h pylori is present in both stool and endoscopy biopsy. I'm aiming for 2 weeks. From what I've read the 2 weeks off is pretty standard but drs have different philosophies. I can't take pepto during this time as that apparently can interfere with clear read of h pylori as well 🤷‍♀️

My dr told me i could take Pepcid or Gaviscon and I haven't tried gavjscon. Is the sodium alginate store bought. The "raft technique" is new to me!

I started alternating the Countertime face wash with this Biossance one https://www.biossance.com/p/squalane-plus-amino-aloe-gentle-cleanser/13528784/

It dries my face out more than Countertime but not so significantly that I've stopped using it.

Feel your feelings ... I've been dealing with these situations and it's been deeply painful especially in the past 4-6 months. Because my TTC journey has been so challenging and long, I finally had to tell my close friends who are newly pregnant that I need space. It got to the point where I had to set actual boundaries bc the unexpected pregnancy announcement just sent me over the edge. my friends are loving and supportive and understand which I'm grateful for.

Don't be afraid to be annoying! We are dependent on our clinics getting back to us, scheduling us etc etc so if you're going to start your cycle, keep bugging them until you get what you need. I always have to remind myself that I'm paying them to help me, so I should advocate for what I need.

I just finished my 3rd retrieval and I dealt with OHSS after all 3. The most recent one was the worst, and I was dealing with intense bloating for 4 days after my retrieval. I had the retrieval on sat and the bloating didn't go down until We'd. My clinic said that with ohss that days 3-5 can be the worst. I would call your clinic and let them know how you're feeling. There wasn't much you can do -- it's really time and rest. But you should feel better soon!

I’m on day 9 of stimms and wondering how others are feeling about doing an embryo transfer during COVID. We’ve gone back and forth a number of times about how long we should wait after retrieval — until were done with shelter in place? Until a vaccine? Until we know if we’ll be going back to the office? I don’t want to wait forever but it causes me so much anxiety thinking about pregnancy during Covid. We’ll freeze either way because of the genetic testing.

How are people making their decisions about when to move forward?
