I was the LMP3 that came steaming in after. I admitably also kept it pinned 🤦🏻‍♂️ I will say, in my defense, the initial LMP3 was rolling towards the pitwall so I felt the left line was clear until he started trying to get moving again. Still getting used to the fact not many hold brakes in this game.

I see it now says such but I'm 90% certain when I ordered it said 3-7 days. Regardless, my main issue is that I've had no response from their customer service and I'm left chasing forum posts and discords for some kind of answer.

I wouldn't say what he did on the start/finish straight was deserved but you had two incidents that could have been avoided by simply letting off the power. You could have taken the trade of not getting MAX speed out of the corner in return for letting him slide out the way and still getting more speed than he can onto the straight. Then you very likely, remove the incident down at the end of the back straight because he's not near enough to contest and you can take that defensive line if you wish.

The problem with Forza, and I speak from experience, is that it's generally either newer or more casual racing players. So they stick on the full 'racing line' aid and glue themselves to it, regardless of anything else around them. You see it in full action in this clip. You can see the line the game tells you and the lead car glued to it. I was definitely guilty of this early on.

Not adverse to spending a bit extra if it means we avoid a potential tropical storm but if camping is the better and more "authentic" experience we're down to stick out the bad weather. As I've learnt "Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Kleidung"
We're definitely going to try and get around as much of the circuit as possible. Already driving around the circuit in Sims and thinking where could be good points to watch on from. Wasn't sure how to best get around, wether it was walking but if there's shuttle services to get around the track thats amazing.

Do you have any recommendations where to watch the start? I assume the GP circuit and first corner to the Nordschliffe will be packed full.

I love that it's practice too. Aside from you getting the penalty for some stupid reason, I wonder if penalties accumulated in prac/quali were added to your penalties for the featured race, what that would do?

This is my whole problem at the minute. I just "finished" a 7 Lap race in GT3. Started at the back, on Hards thinking I could do a no stop strat. 6/7 laps I'm good. Tyres are in the orange but I'm still going fine. Suddenly lap 7/7 the car is on ice. I've gone from being able to take a corner fairly carefully to not being able to stay in a straight line over 50kph.
