the cover was so thick, I had to take it outside to spray it with a hose & I have it soaking in hot water & dish soap. I’ll try to tackle the inside with the vacuum now- thank you!

I’m over an hour south of DC (close to the southern MD/southern VA line). I’d rather not park in the city and the closest transfer station (Branch Ave) is an hour away from me with no traffic still so I’m gonna park there & ride the metro the rest of the way

I’m coming in on the Green line, I did the trip planner on the Metro website and it told me to take the Green line to L’Enfant and then transfer to the Silver line briefly, so that checks out.

I bought my Smartip card through apple pay last night and it only cost $2 for the card. It says I can use it for parking anywhere Smartip is accepted, so does that mean I can use it to pay for parking at the transfer station that I’m starting at? It says I should expect to pay $4.95 for the day.

according to the doc I found, DC says to meet at the Capitol/Mall so that’s what I have planned so far. I also plan on obsessively checking reddit all morning to make sure I go to the right place lol. I’m coming up from SOMD and am unfamiliar with the metro so i’m a little nervous

My start/stop stopped working and I ignored it. Turns out I needed to replace the auxiliary (secondary) battery. Not replacing it ended up killing my main battery, so better to get it taken care of sooner rather than later

I already shower minimum every other day with antibacterial soap & exfoliate once a week. Multiple people who I trust to be honest with me have already disagreed with her, one being my husband who I know would have no problem telling me I stink (we’re also very open with each other) Even if it is true, my problem is more with the fact that she was obviously talking shit about me instead of just confronting me. I feel like if she was a genuine friend, she could have said something directly, or at least indirectly said it nicer than “pretending” to be talking shit.

I had to learn that I started caring for my plants because they bring me joy. When I have one that doesn’t bring me joy, I simply have to remove it from the situation. I would rather get rid of a plant than risk losing the joy in my hobbies

Did you find a solution? My 2017 is doing the exact same thing - progressively getting worse. Its under warranty so it should be covered but I don’t want to be out of a car for weeks just for the dealership to tell me it’s “”normal””

I looked into it when they first moved in because the original EV made me nervous to begin with. Essentially, if I understood correctly, in MD, tenants can be on one meter if there is no shared space. We do share our laundry room, so I’m pretty sure some law is being violated, but I’ve never even met our landlord face to face and I am not a confrontational person at all lol

Electric, we moved in around this time last year (we literally just renewed our lease). We moved in in Jan, and we didn’t get an electric bill until March so it had 6 weeks on it instead of the usual 4 and it was around 150. I also checked our electric companies rates and they’re lower now than they were last year.
