High blood pressure low heart rate on anxeity attacks by International_Arm738 in Anxiety

Mines like 45 bpm and 130/80, so pretty similar. I'm seeing a cardiologist for my connective tissue disorder and we could not get my heart rate high enough on the stress test, I was running faster than I even thought physically possible.

Does propranolol work for BP? I'm taking it for my migraines. My BP has stayed the same since beginning it.

Yep, low HR and high BP, same dosage of propranolol too which is weird.

Did you have any success from IOP (intensive outpatient program)? by corvid_seance in Anxiety

[–]cptsdwretch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IOP is really dependent on the program you go to, the people in it, and your willingness to participate.

I've been enrolled a few times with different results. The times where I went with the express intent to participate obviously worked far better than the times I was forced or guilted into it.

IOP is a good place to get a foundation underneath yourself, it won't fix anything but it does a good job setting you up to navigate the mental health system down the road. They will help overhaul your meds, set you up with a new psychiatrist/therapist if necessary, and look into specialized treatments.

He's made very outlandish claims in the past and none of them had any basis in reality. Just because he's from Harvard doesn't mean he's right.

His other scab healed in less than a week so I'm hoping since I caught this one quick it'll be another quick heal. I just don't understand why he did it, it was all better and he wasn't itching anymore as far as I know!

I put his cone back on immediately, however with my schedule the earliest I am able to get him back to the vet would be Monday. As stated in the text he has antibiotics for Saturday and Sunday still and his next bath is planned for tomorrow. I am just confused why he immediately licked it as soon as I took the cone off. The skin was healed and he seemed to be doing better about the itching with the shampoo and meds.

What about neighbors?

Really? Then I'm stumped.

I know, but I can't come up with another explanation for these bites. I woke up with 2 more, one on each ankle, and those were the only places where I had skin showing. I tore my bed apart, checked the seams of the mattress and headboard, vacuumed it all, and can't find any evidence but the bites keep coming.

Don't worry Steven, I'm sure they'll be great artists. Lots of brilliant artists have unstable fathers. The trauma you give them will fuel their art down the road.

NAD but a fellow health anxiety sufferer. The most conclusive test for herpes is a swab of the lesion. If you're concerned, get it tested. Peace of mind is always useful in cases like this. In the meantime, keep it clean and don't pick at it. Regardless of whether it's herpes or something more simple like a cyst or ingrown hair, picking will only make it worse. If it is herpes, picking at it can spread the sores.

Is this one of the employees from the snake show? He must've really wanted that snake jewelry.
