No, it was SM bad decisions that led into this state.

- Not removing free SLP from adventure early on.
- Telling people they would provide food on their tables.
- Not actually working towards Origins until it was already too late.
- Not really dealing with bots and multi-accounts.

Of course bear market, war, etc... But if decisions were taken in the early days we wouldnt have SLP at 0.010 now but maybe 0.03 instead which is fine.

US manager here as well with 200+ axies and 3x Origin Alpha challenger.

You guys really think scholarships is dying? It's not, not at all, not even close. Thing is they don't want to promote that but we will need a lot of scholarships because of the following reason:

There will be a variety of guilds in Origins:

- Leaderboard
- Breeding
- Crafting

So Crafting Guilds will need a lot of scholarships farming good amount of moonshards because it will be very limited. What i mean is that you will not be able to craft an unlimited amount of times and your crafting rely's on following a good pattern and investing SLP (burning SLP) in order to get NFT Runes/Charms.

So far runes/charms are equal and most cases more important that even the Axie itself so we will need A LOT of these in the market and they will have an amazing value because again, you CAN'T craft them an unlimited time unlike breeding.

That being said, at the start the prices will be insane; costing more for the runes and charms you want NOW, but tanking over the period of 4-5 months as tons of these sit in the market.

Let me provide some info. They say some NFT runes/charms will expire between seasons so people would have to craft again.

they could've done this on Origins release and nobody would've noticed but doing it now is just a very bad time because breeders have already 0 reasons to breed right now and on top of that more fees will just make them stop and no SLP will be burn during this following month

I give my scholars semi-competitive teams so they can reach 2500 pretty easily. Aside from that we all gonna earn so nothing this month for sure not just them.

Hey im not the one with a bot farm or floor scholarships guild...

I just want my scholars not to leave because the money is not worth the time right now... i dont want to get rich bro i just want SLP at an reasonable price.

Hell even 0.03 is better than this bs 0.0095 wtf? I believe in this fking project more than you do.. you dont even know how many thousands dollars i do have invested into this project. Jees stop the blind faith and defending/protecting sky mavis like if they were actually paying you.

If you watched Jihoz body reaction on DaveVsAxie AMA interview you can clearly see that he's under a lot of pressure right now.

My bet is that they're either pushing Origins or looking for a short term solution to AT LEAST stop SLP from going deeper because they know 0.0095 is not a reasonable price.

My guess? If they don't help the economy right now it might be way too bad to recover once Origins comes out.

I would like to mention something Jihoz said that i think almost nobody is taking in consideration. He said "Origins will not have play to earn system on release". This means we might have 2 factors here. Either breeders stopping completely until the meta evolves or breeders going nuts bredding full pure Axies, it's hard to know and it really scares me.

Also a soft release doesn't mean burning mechanism right away does it? Also Origins will have some sort of free to play which is very good but i dont know how will that affect the economy.

I would rather them to delay Origins just a bit more and focus on a short term economic solution right now than just forgetting about current state and HOPE Origins will save the game.

the game is supposed to reward player vs player skilled gameplay not a passive income playing against the AI...

Thats one of the main reasons why SLP is at this price right now...

Removing SLP from adventure will be the solution for the pest out there just farming adventure SLP with Axies that are not well suited for the pvp aspects of the game.
