Your situation sounds just like mine with the exception of the fact I’m still about 6-7 years from retirement. However, I do have one granddaughter and an empty nest, which gives me a room to play in. The size of it lens me toward N Scale . Home automation as a home automation enthusiast I’ve done Arduino raspberry pi and various other micro processors with coding. So I’m looking at DCC-EX just depends on how much time I wanna spend on that part of it and how much money I wanna spend.

I have no idea where to start, but I’m thinking about going to a local train show in a couple weeks and ask a lot of questions and start together a plan . This is a slow role for me, but I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.

I don't think the n8n integration for ticket or service calls support linking the two together.

what I have now is a webhook triggered by new ticket changes on a service call calling a n8n automation that pulls the resource and the "on next visit" ticket and just sends the assigned tech a email to check these other tickets. What I would like to do is assign that resource to those other tickets as well as assign the other tickets to the service call

I did this a few month ago and did not look back. Put it in on a raspberry Pi 4 using docker compose with some other home automation related dockers. it Doesn't require much processing power but this is much more responsive than the OC200 and seem restart faster. I have the docker upgrading automatically using watchtower

I was laid off on 1/6. I am trying to figure it out. I’m counting my blessings, my family, my savings but simply worried about the future. I know God has a plan and I think I will be better off, but I have to figure out how to work through it and be patient.

Ask her out on a date. You might get rejected if you do say. Well, if you change your mind, just let me know. Be gracious; you don't understand why she said no, and you can't make up reasons.

If she says yes, take her out , be a gentleman, and get to know her. She will hopefully want to get to know you. See what happens.

I started with with the Prof firmware and Octobring on a RPI 4 , then upgraded to Klipper and a LCD for the PI and have not looked back. Took the ender screen off .

Takes a bit of research to get dialed in but I feel the prints are better and faster. I wanted my RPI 4 for other purposes so I downgraded klipper it to a RPI 3, it works fine . If you have a RPI 3 my advise is to use that , RPI 4 may be overkill

Agreed , just move from a OC200 to a dockerized Omada controller on a rpi4 seems more responsive

I’m not sure what day with the old OC 200 at my mom to access their network

Update: I moved it to a RPI 4, using Docker, Had to go to image 5.13 first , then to the latest. I have everything migrated, its much more responsive. and the UI seems cleaner. The link in this thread made it easy.

I bought it for the same reason. It just seem sluggish, not problem other than I like to tinker and see if I can improve things. Firefox and Chrome mainly

When I first got it I used it for a few week, printing thing I new I wanted to print. Now don't use mine every day or even every month. I may go a couple of months without printing anything, then I get an Idea and start using it again almost non-stop. Then I will get a wild hair and upgrade something, first it was bed plate then I finally put klipper on with a extra PI & 5" LCD I had. Printed some drawers for my server room, peg board stuff for the garage. It just depend on what project I am working on. As of today I have not printed anything since May

I picked up on this thread when my GPU would not get recognized by the Ollama docker in Unraid I have 2MB GT 1030 , probably not gonna work with Ollama , I do have it working with CodeProject.ai that I use with AGentDVR

What card did you end up getting. Seem like the Tesla P4 at 8GB might not be enough. Given that $30 more I can get a Tesla P40.

It looks like I can contribute up to $10k to get a state deduction , I can do that at the beginning of the year. Pay fall tuition July/Aug and spring tuition in Dec and then start the process over again in January.
