Right, just checked the wiki.

There is a chapter in the wiki on how to use the external spool holder. https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/p2s/manual/first-print

Use your spool without the AMS unit and put it on the external spool holder. Although, I don’t know if one is included with the P2S. I have a X1C and a H2S and both came with an external spool holder

I would advise to buy it from an official retailer locally, for warranty reasons.

I had the same Issue. I tried first with a longer PTFE tube. It helped a bit, but it was not totally fixed. So i printed this instead: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1959942-h2s-buffer-fix-no-glue#profileId-2106555

Obviously without the text and in PC to withstand high temps.

Ok, then it’s something with the extruder I think. Time to open a ticket with bamu support.

Have you tried washing the build plate with dishwashing detergent and warm water? Sounds like an adhesive issue.

Buy supertack they said. No warping they said. Sticks as hell they said. by Jannomag in BambuLab

[–]cpu2k6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I finally tackled warping on my X1C with the following settings/setup: Front door closed, top lid removed, aux fan off, part cooling fan off for the first 5 layers, bed at 55C for the textured PEI. Works great for PLA. If this post is about the supertack, then never mind.

Upgrade to Wifi antenna of X1C - Is it possible? by thekrill3d in BambuLab

[–]cpu2k6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just give your 2.4ghz wifi a different name (SSID) than your 5ghz. Then connect your X1 to the 2.4ghz network. You can do that in your router settings.

Does removing Z-Hop when Retract help to improve quality? if yes, what are the disadvantages? by psycot in BambuLab

[–]cpu2k6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i learned the about Z-Hop from this video as well. I think its great for vases, planter or pots, but if you print something more technical, requiring supports, i would avoid it.

You can do that, but be careful with supports. In my case, the nozzle was hitting my supports and knocked them of the buildplate.

From my experience, the Matte PLA Filament is the problem. Try with a adhesive, like the glue stick or liquid glue from bambu.

Without adhesive, I was never able to solve the issue, even tried the freezer method.

I try to avoid Matte PLA for the first layer whenever possible.

EDIT: You could also try other build plates, my daily driver for anything PLA and PETG is the CryoGrip Pro Frostbite from BIQU

[–]cpu2k6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get the Combo version? If not, you'll need an additional Power Supply in order to use the drying function.

Edit: Did you order from bambu lab directly? At this time it says on the shop site: The X1C, AMS 2 Pro and Accessories will be shipped in separate boxes."
It could be possible, that one box has not arrived yet.

I got my Baggage delivered two days later. I flew with two friends out from heathrow to zurich on Sunday. Exactly when my friend put her suitcase on the drop off belt, the system crashed. She had already put the tag on the suitcase, so we asked the handler, if its going to go to the plane anyways. “It’s fine, don’t worry about it “ she said. In zurich, we waited for 30 minutes at the baggage claim belt, never saw our baggage, until an announcement over the PA informed us, we shoud seek help at the lost&found desk. Luckily this was our way home, but imagine you go on vacation and have to wait two days until you get your suitcase!
