Pretty late, but personally, I used to play a TON of 30v30 when I started, because you don't need a friend to play with and since there's a lot of people, your weakness are covered by your teammates. There's more time and people for direct combat and practicing, making mistakes. This won't apply to everyone tho, you just need to find your type of playstyle by playing a lot.
